THINGS TO DO IN UGANDA

Gorilla Trekking

The tourist attractions in Uganda wouldn’t be complete without Gorilla Trekking.  Uganda is actually the best place to go as they have the largest number of gorilla families in the Biwindi National Forrest.

Wildlife in the National Parks

Most of Uganda’s wildlife is concentrated in its protected areas, of which there are three main categories: National Parks, Wildlife Reserves, and Forest Reserves. Uganda has established 10 National Parks, enabling tourists to enjoy the pristine wilderness environment. A visit to these Parks makes your Ugandan safari memorable; Some of the Parks includes: Murchison falls which is best to see the endangered Rothschild Giraffes, large Elephant and Buffalo herds, many antelopes, a savanna with Borassus Palm Trees unlike other wildlife parks in East Africa, Queen Elizabeth Park which is simply a tapestry of natural wonders in the western region of Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest which is Home of almost half of the remaining Mountain Gorillas in the World; Ruwenzori Mountains of the Moon which are the tallest mountain range in Africa, taller than the Alps of Europe,

Chimpanzee Trekking

In addition to the gorilla trekking you can get up close and personal to chimpanzees which can be found in the region.  There are many other natural forests as well where you can find plenty more animals.
