KSAEWILEXC/ WILEXC 006: 6 days Excursions & Fly Mara Safari
Day 1: ARRIVAL – NAIROBI
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi by, you will be met by KSAE representative who will assist through customs and then transfer to the city Hotel in Nairobi for your Overnight stay.

Day 2: NAIROBI – EXCURSIONS-NAIROBI
After a sumptuous breakfast at the Hotel, you will begin your excursion today in Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi. Your excursion will take you to the Giraffe Center, which is an education institution formed by Jock Leslie- Melvile, a Briton in 1979 with a view of saving the endangered Rothschild giraffe. You will actually have the chance to interact and feed the giraffes yourselves. You will also visit the Daphne Sheldrick elephant trust which is also a home to many orphaned elephants brought and protected here. Here you will experience the feeding of the young orphaned elephants and also have a chance to donate to this project if you wish to. The excursion will also take you to Karen Blixen museum which was once a farm to the Danish author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke. The farm house gained international fame with the release of the movie ‘Out of Africa’ an Oscar winning film based on Karen’s autobiography by the same title. Lunch will be served at Carnivore and Dinner on your own.

Day 3 to 5: NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA
After breakfast at your Hotel, you will be transferred to the Wilson airstrip for your flight to Maasai Mara, where upon arrival, the lodge/camp guides will meet you and transfer to the Camp/Lodge for refreshment and lunch after having a game drive. The Maasai Mara is Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve and the setting for much of the film Out of Africa. It is classic savannah grasslands, where animals are plentiful and the vistas spectacular. Here Maasai tend their cattle in concert with free roaming wildlife – all sharing the same land with minimal conflicts. You will have two days of wildlife-viewing opportunities in the Maasai Mara Reserve, also known as the “Jewel of Africa,” inhabited by many of Africa’s most popular wild animals, including lion, cheetah, elephant, leopard, black rhino and hippo. There are over 500 resident species of birds in the park including ostrich, larks and sunbirds as well as the lovely Lilac-breasted Roller.
You will have game drives on these days as you catch most of the wildlife. On the second day, you can have optional balloon safaris with champagne breakfast in the bush or a visit to the Maasai Village.
You will drive to the Camp/ Lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Mara Lodge/ Tented Camp
Meal Plan: Full Board
Day 6: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI – DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the Camp/Lodge, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your departure flight back to Nairobi, where upon arrival, our drivers will be there awaiting for you and you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight back home.
